We use only Grade A plantation grown solid teak wood from Indonesia that is highest quality available in the world today. All of our teak furniture is made from harvested trees grown on plantation following sustainable-yield practices. This process is managed and controlled by Perum Perhutani, an Indonesian government agency who is responsible with preserving these natural resources.Prior to construction, all of our teak wood is kiln dried (nor air or sun dried) precisely to an Optimal moisture content of 10% to ensure against later warping or splitting.We use the best materials. We utilize the mortise and tenon method buttressed by wood dowels and solid brass or stainless steel fittings, ensuring the strongest possible construction, keep in mind, the quality of the materials are only good as the construction methods used to manufacture your furniture.Last but not least, creating furniture from teak is significantly more energy efficient then metal or plastic furniture fabrication. With plastics, synthetics materials are needed which in the process creating hazardous waste for the environment.
